LucaLedger + Zoom integration
Overview
LucaLedger's Zoom integration automatically creates a unique Zoom meeting for each appointment a client
books through your LucaLedger scheduling page. When a booking is made for a meeting type set to use Zoom,
LucaLedger generates the meeting on your connected Zoom account and includes the join link in the
confirmation and calendar invite sent to you and the client.
Adding the app (connect Zoom)
- Sign in to LucaLedger and open Calendar → Integrations.
- On the Zoom row, click Connect.
-
You are redirected to Zoom to sign in and authorize the app. The app requests a single permission —
create a meeting for a user (
meeting:write:meeting). - After you approve, you return to LucaLedger and the Zoom row shows ✓ Connected.
Using the app
- Go to Calendar → Meeting Types and open or create a meeting type.
- Under How it's held, choose Auto-create a Zoom meeting, and save.
- From then on, every booking for that meeting type gets its own unique Zoom link, added automatically to the booking confirmation and calendar invite. There is no manual step to create or paste a link.
Removing the app (disconnect)
- From LucaLedger: open Calendar → Integrations and click Disconnect on the Zoom row. This removes your stored Zoom authorization from LucaLedger.
- From Zoom: go to the Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps, find LucaLedger, and click Remove. LucaLedger receives Zoom's deauthorization notification and deletes your stored Zoom tokens.
Data handling & privacy
LucaLedger stores only the OAuth tokens required to create meetings on your behalf, encrypted at rest. It does not access, store, or process meeting content, recordings, or participant information. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect the integration or remove the app.
