Pennsylvania extensions
Every state's rule in one table: which states accept the federal extension in 2026.
| Does Pennsylvania accept the federal extension? | Yes. A federal extension is honored; no state form. |
|---|---|
| State extension form | Form REV-276 |
| Original due date | April 15, 2026 |
| Extended due date | October 15, 2026 |
| Payment | Still due April 15, 2026. The extension is to file, not to pay. An extension does not extend the time for full payment and does not preclude penalty and interest for underpayment. |
| How to get it | With a federal extension and no PA tax owed, do nothing; if you owe or lack a federal extension, pay and request the extension on myPATH or file Form REV-276 with payment by April 15. |
